JGCYO was honored to lead the Girls Flag Football portion of the CIAA Youth Sports & Cheer Clinic — and it was a powerful moment for the growth of the game. This year marked the first-ever addition of Girls Flag Football to the clinic. The energy, competitiveness, and skill on display made one thing clear — this is just the beginning.
With the National Collegiate Athletic Association officially recognizing Girls Flag Football as a varsity sport, and the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Commissioner voicing support today, the pathway for young female athletes is expanding in real time.
Each year we will raise the standard — improving development, increasing exposure, and creating real opportunity for girls to compete, grow, and be seen.
Grateful for everyone who made today a success. The future of Girls Flag Football is bright.
